ROWENA HUTSON

Over the past two years Rowena has been working on several independent writing projects including a feminist zomcom (zombie comedy!) web series and a number of short stories exploring themes of place and grief which will be published in 2021.

In early 2020 she received a grant from the City of Melbourne to continue research for her YA feminist fantasy novel exploring the intersection between puberty and mental health. As part of her research she trained in and became a certified Mental Health First Aider. She is having an absolute ball creating a fabulous new fantasy world and is looking forward to sharing it with you one day.
